Loadouts in My Ships. Opening a ship now opens its loadouts, the same editor as on
sc-toolbox.com: the ship's banner with its loadouts and the four numbers that matter
(firepower, alpha, shields, quantum), the power ring on the bus of parts (weapons above,
systems below; big ships stack guns and missiles in lanes), and a tray of parts that fit the
slot you pick. Point at a part to preview it on every number; Buy or Craft puts it on (Stock
for the ship's own). Changing Stock starts a new loadout; every change saves at once and can
be undone (Ctrl+Z). All that fit compares everything side by side (search, sort, pin up to
three); Set quality picks crafting qualities with how often finds reach them. Shopping &
crafting plans the buy run (fewest stops or lowest price, or a shop of your own per part) and
the craft list (materials, quality odds, how much ore to mine, a link to the Mining Finder);
save the list to tick things off. Rename, duplicate, delete and share links from the loadout's
menu. Ship info & stats keeps the old details page. -
Removing a ship with loadouts asks first, naming the loadouts that go with it (and which
are shared: their links will say they were removed). -
Loadouts sync with sc-toolbox.com. Loadouts you make for your ships (here or on the
website) stay the same on both, like My Ships: the newer edit wins, removals carry over, and
shopping ticks and a saved shopping list go along. Removing a ship removes its loadouts on
both sides. Signed out, loadouts stay on this PC and go online with My Ships at your first
sign-in.

Events: your orgs' ops in the launcher. A new tool (rail and home screen) with a month
calendar, the agenda (filter I'm in / Has room) and the op you pick: its countdown, how
many pilots, gunners and ground team it still needs, the formation with every seat, the
briefing (muster point, comms). Take a seat by clicking it, or join by role: Fly a ship
offers the organizer's free ships and yours from My Ships (it goes where it fits), Crew a
turret and Ground team find the seat for you, Backup puts you on the bench. Leave or move
any time; holding a seat that clashes asks once whether to move. Planning events (and drafts)
stays on sc-toolbox.com: Plan an event opens it. Needs the online sign-in; orgs come from
your verified RSI account. -
Overlay: a reminder for your next op. Signed up for an op in the next three days? A line
under the overlay's bar shows it with a countdown, also in one-line mode. Click it for when,
your seat, the muster point, comms, who's still missing and the briefing, and Open in
SC-Toolbox.

Joystick Bindings: two more VKB models. Gladiator EVO SCE (Premium) — Right has the
analog mini-stick in the A1 spot (slots for both its hat mode and its analog mode), the C1
thumb hat and the rapid-fire trigger (up and down). Gladiator EVO SCE (Standard) on Omni
Throttle — Left is the Standard grip on the Omni Throttle Adapter, with the gimbal shown as
the throttle. Pick them under STICK (the game names the sticks the same, so they aren't chosen
for you). When you switch a stick to another model, the buttons you already identified stay
for the controls both models share. The En1 encoder on every VKB model no longer asks for a
press it doesn't have. -
Fix: My Ships listed remote turret guns as the pilot's. Remote turrets (the Polaris's rear
ones, the Carrack's, Reclaimer's, Hercules', Redeemer's…) are typed like ordinary gun mounts in
the game files; their guns now show under Turrets, so the Polaris has no pilot guns. A
one-crew vehicle (the Storm tank) keeps its turret as the driver's weapon. (The ship data is
read again once after the update.)

Overlay: panels follow your game (with LIVE LOG on). Salvage opens on your active
claim: its difficulty, with the claim's ship open and marked Your claim. Mining opens on
the system you're in, with where you are and the places around it first (You're here, Near
you). Maps suggests the guides for your missions and location (for example Tactical Strike
Groups at a TSG station). A line at the top of each says what it follows, with Stop to turn
it off for that panel (remembered); nothing switches while the pointer is over the panel, it
waits until it leaves. Missions: the possible blueprints you don't have yet stand out,
named on the card and listed first when you open it. -
Overlay: sizing and no cut-off text. New Settings → Overlay size (90–150 %), apart
from the launcher's own size; Automatic makes it larger on 1440p (115 %) and 4K (150 %)
screens. Mission titles and objectives wrap instead of being cut off. Session fits its
height to what it shows and lines up its labels and values, with the times of blueprints and
recent moments on the right. Maps fills the panel's width (scroll down the guide; Fit
switches to the whole page), widens the panel for landscape guides, and L or ⤢ shows a
guide large, over most of the screen (Esc goes back). -
Overlay: placing it. Drag it by its bar or status line (not only the ⠿ grip); it snaps
to the screen's edges. ⋯ → Move to puts it in a corner or the middle of a side in one
click, ⋯ → Reset position (also Reset its position in Settings) brings it back, e.g.
after changing monitors. A panel opens towards the free side of the screen, so a bar at the
bottom or on the right opens upwards or leftwards and never goes off-screen; the position is
kept per screen setup. -
Overlay: Mining and Salvage in the new look, built from the same parts as the launcher's tools:
- Mining: pick an ore and the places list straight away, best first, each with how many of
its rocks carry the ore (with a bar to compare) and the best average quality there. A place
opens the launcher's place card: rock types with spawn chance and rarity, radar signatures,
and every rock's composition with share and quality odds spelled out (the overlay has no
tooltips). - Salvage: the launcher's ship rows: name, a bar of components vs cargo and the net value;
open one for the fee, every part with the price it counts at and whether to sell or
dismantle it, and the cargo aboard.
- Mining: pick an ore and the places list straight away, best first, each with how many of
-
Mission Database: more filters (under More filters, like the website's): faction, place
(planets or places a mission is limited to, e.g. Pyro I or Rustville), rank range (the step on the
contractor's ladder it needs, 0 = the first) and Added in (the patch it first appeared in). The
game files don't say when a mission was added, so the launcher notes it per patch from now on: the
first patch you open it on lists everything as "or earlier". The details show the places, the rank's
step and the patch too. The star system filter now also knows missions offered at a place in a system.
(The mission data is read again once after the update.) -
Fix: the first Sync online could skip your ships. If that first sync failed (for example
because the sign-in still had to be renewed), the ships already in the launcher weren't sent on
the next try. They now go up once the first sync actually succeeds.
v0.4.0
-
New: Sync online (signed in, under Live log and in Settings → Online account). It keeps
sc-toolbox.com up to date, and sc-toolbox.com is where everything is kept:- Stats and blueprints: at start, every LIVE and HOTFIX game session the website doesn't have
yet (or has an older copy of) goes up, as a summary (counts, finished missions, blueprints
received; never log lines). While you play, the current session follows: within seconds of a
new blueprint, otherwise every few minutes and when the game closes. Sending a session again
replaces it, so nothing is ever counted twice, and nothing online is removed when this PC has
fewer logs (after a reinstall, or when the game deleted old ones). - Blueprints you have (Mission Database, overlay) now also count your online collection: ones
received before a reinstall, and ones you marked owned on the website. - My Ships syncs both ways. Edit it in the launcher or on the website; per ship the newer edit
wins. The first sync pairs ships both sides already have, one for one (two Cutters here and one
online make two, not three), and after a reinstall your hangar comes back from the website. Each
account has its own list; signed out, the launcher keeps a local one. - Sync needs the live log: turning it on turns the live log on, turning the live log off stops
sync. It needs permissions older sign-ins don't have: Sign in again under the switch. - HOTFIX counts as the same game universe as LIVE for blueprints (another build of LIVE).
- This PC's game stats belong to one player: the first account that syncs them. Signed in with
another account, sync keeps that account's own My Ships but doesn't send it your game stats;
Settings → Online account can hand them over (for example to a new account of yours).
- Stats and blueprints: at start, every LIVE and HOTFIX game session the website doesn't have
-
Online account in the title bar: Sign in is a quiet button with a person icon; while it
waits for your browser it says Signing in… · Cancel. Signed in, your avatar and name open your
profile on sc-toolbox.com, and the ▾ next to them has Sync online, Account settings, Switch
account and Sign out. When sc-toolbox.com can't be reached, the avatar dims and says offline. -
A new look, the same on every tool. Every tool now has the same layout: a header with what it's
for and where its data comes from, one filter bar, a result line with the count and your active
filters (click ✕ on one to remove it, or Clear filters), then the results. Explanations that used
to fill the screen are behind How to read this. The colours now mean the same thing everywhere,
and on the website: amber is the one main button, steel blue is what you've selected, green is the
best value or something you have. The text is now Inter, bundled with the app, and numbers line
up in columns. -
A tool rail on the left replaces Back. Every tool, the launch screen and Settings are one click
away from anywhere, and a light at its bottom shows the game's state: Ready, Launcher (the
RSI Launcher is open) or In game. It follows the running programs, also when you started the game
without SC-Toolbox or before it, and START says so instead of trying to launch a second copy; signed in, the title bar shows your avatar and name; the window no longer resizes when you switch. Tool pages dim the wallpaper so
tables are easier to read. -
Salvage Claims: one table with a single header row; the best net value is green, and a bar
shows each ship's value split into components and cargo, so they can be compared at a glance. -
Mining Finder: places are sorted by the best chance of finding the ores you picked, with that
chance on each card. The ore you picked stands out and the other rocks fade back; the single-rock
radar signature (RS) is bold. The resource list shows each ore's rarity and how many places have it. -
New: Mission Database (the Missions tool). Every mission in the game files: search by name,
contractor or the blueprints it rewards; filter by system, type and contractor, and under More
filters by legal or illegal, events, rewards (blueprints, fixed pay, items) and the work (ship
or on-foot combat, cargo, repeatable, not part of a chain); sort by most rep, most blueprints,
quickest, easiest and more. Click a mission for its details: description, rank, rewards, cargo,
time, difficulty, stages and the blueprints it can give. Blueprints you don't have is worked out
from your own game logs, without signing in. Event missions are hidden until you pick the event,
as on the website. -
The launch screen shows each tool with one line on what it's for and a live line (how many
missions and locations the game has, your ship count, saved binding profiles…), plus a Last
session card: time played, missions done, blueprints and deaths. The link buttons are now a
compact group, and sc-toolbox.com has its own tile for the Blueprint and Ship databases. -
Links between tools: from a mission's details, Find this ore in the Mining Finder; from the
Mining Finder, Missions with this ore; from a salvage claim ship, its page in the online Ship
Database. Every tool's header links to its website version. -
Overlay, easier at a glance: the tools are labelled under their icons, with their key (1–5
while the overlay has the keyboard). A line under the bar always shows whether click-through is on
and names whatever the pointer is on, so nothing needs a tooltip. Opacity now fades only the
background, never the text. Opacity, Hide and Settings moved into a ⋯ menu inside the overlay.
New: minimise the overlay to one line with your current objective (it wraps rather than
widening the overlay), how long you've been on it, and where you are. Mission cards show the current objective first, larger; blueprints received this
session show which mission they came from. -
My Ships, Maps, Joystick Bindings, Settings and What's new have the same header and filter
bar as the other tools. Settings has a short list of its sections on the left. My Ships shows fleet totals (pledged, in game, in concept, cargo) and your
filters as removable chips. Joystick Bindings asks before leaving with unsaved changes. -
My Stats: new Last 30 days and Last 7 days periods next to All time and Last session, four
headline figures at the top, and the longest lists as top-5 bar charts with Show all.
v0.3.0
-
SC-Toolkit is now SC-Toolbox. Only the name changes: your settings, saved data, sign-in and
hotkeys stay as they are, updates keep arriving the usual way, and the website is now
https://sc-toolbox.com. -
Windows: the .exe now carries its details (Properties → Details: SC-Toolbox, version,
description). Files without them are more often flagged by mistake by antivirus programs. -
Online account (optional): Sign in at the top right (next to ⚙), or Settings → Online
account, signs the launcher in to the SC-Toolbox online service with Discord, in your browser. Once
signed in, your name shows there instead. The launcher never sees a password: it gets a sign-in
that's kept in your system's password store (Windows Credential Manager, or KWallet / GNOME Keyring
on Linux), so you stay signed in after a restart. Sign out ends it on the service too. Nothing
changes if you don't sign in. The service is sc-toolbox.com, built in (no address to set). -
Fix: ship list refresh failing with "got 298 of 299". The Star Citizen Wiki's ship pages
could repeat some ships and skip others, so the download was refused as incomplete. The list is
now fetched in a stable order.
v0.2.1
- Joystick bindings: Logitech / Saitek X56 H.O.T.A.S. The bindings view now draws the X56 stick
and throttle (Saitek X-56 Rhino and Logitech-branded units), with Logitech's product photos
(downloaded on first use, not bundled). The X56's button numbers are fixed, so every control
shows its bindings right away; Identify the rest asks only for the few inputs that can differ
(throttle H/I, SLD, mini-stick click, mode switch). A HOTAS shows as STICK / THROTTLE, throttle
first. - Joystick photos download only when needed: the view fetches a model's photo the first time a
device uses that model, instead of every model's photo up front.
v0.2.0
- My Ships (new tool): your hangar as a grid of ship cards. Add the ships you own from a list
of every ship, including ships still in concept and ones you can only get in game, and mark
each as pledged (gold outline) or bought in game (blue outline). Filter by role, size, purchase
and status; give a ship your own name and note its insurance. Ships in concept show their
loaners, and released ships have an Erkul button that opens them on erkul.games. Each card
shows the ship's cargo; click it for the ship's details: its default loadout (weapons, turrets,
missiles, systems) and stats (speeds, shields and hull, power and cooling, quantum and fuel),
read from your game files. Ship list and pictures: Star Citizen Wiki. - Game updates handled for you: SC-Toolkit reads the game files once per game version, in the
background, for every tool at once (before, each tool read them again the first time you opened
it). It notices game updates from the RSI Launcher's log (new setting, found automatically): while
an update installs, the tools and the overlay keep the previous version's data, and as soon as it's
done they switch to the new one, without a restart. - Settings → Refresh data: reads the game files again and downloads whatever is due, if
something ever looks wrong. - Layout: the IN-GAME OVERLAY and LIVE LOG switches moved to the left panel (under IN GAME); the
In-game Overlay tile moved to Settings (with an Open the overlay button). - Downloads only when needed: the ship list is refreshed weekly, the salvage spreadsheet and UEX
prices at most once a day, all at startup. A small line under the launch status shows what
SC-Toolkit is doing. - My Stats → Blueprints: a clear note that this is a log of the blueprints you received (since your
oldest game log), not your blueprint collection. Only LIVE counts now: blueprints received on PTU,
EPTU or Tech Preview were mixed in before. Blueprints are sorted into the right types more reliably
(names from before or after installing StarStrings or a translation now match), and ones the
current game no longer knows are sorted by their name instead of landing in Other. - Overlay mission cards: "blueprints owned" only counts blueprints from the server you're playing on.
v0.1.1
- Updates from inside SC-Toolkit. It checks GitHub for a new version once a day; when there is
one, an Update button shows next to the version at the top. One click downloads the new version,
checks it and restarts SC-Toolkit. Turn the check off, or opt into beta versions, in Settings. - What's new: click the version at the top to see this list.
- Keybind backups: no more new backup after every game session when nothing changed. The game
saves the speed limiter's last value with your settings, and that counted as a change. - Linux: the downloadable AppImage now has the layer-shell overlay on KDE Plasma (Wayland), so
clicking the overlay no longer hands the focus back to the game.
