The DASISH metadata catalogue tries to present a unified view on metadata. It does this by mapping metadata records found in different domains onto one single set of properties. This document semantically defines the set of properties presented in the catalogue. We also address the issues the arise when mapping from the domains to the presented set.

Being in a wiki, the document is not intended to be fixed. New properties or facets will be added, definitions can be changed and next to the semantics, a formal metadata will be presented. It is intended however, as reference when it comes to metadata and mapping matters in the DASISH metadata catalogue.
