Greetings DNS fans!

5.x is "feature complete". Only bugfixes between now and the Aug 25, 2026 ship date!

Please test and report any bugs! A list of which providers need testing the most is here: #4748

The easiest way to run DNSControl is to use the Docker container:

docker run --rm -it -v "$(pwd):/dns" ghcr.io/dnscontrol/dnscontrol:5.0.0-rc8 COMMAND

Change COMMAND to version, preview or push. It also accepts parameters and flags just like you'd want.

Change 5.0.0-rc8 to latest to run the latest non-RC version.
