OMax 4.6 + Max 8 : interface not displaying correctly

We succesfully loaded Omax 4.6 on an authorized Max 8.1.8 (28fa7f9) instance, on Macos Mojave 10.14.6 installed on a Macbook Pro laptop.

However, when we tried on a different laptop with the same authorized instance of Max, with macOS Catalina installed, the interface lacks lot of objects, as in the image below.

We also tried on a desktop Mac with macOS Mojave installed, with same results.

Is this related somehow to a specific combination of operating system and Max 8 version, or may be another issue?

I learned from the Ircam Forum that something similar happened with OMax 4.5.3 + Max7, (forum thread ‘Omax 4.5.3’). Apparently the OMax 4.5.3 patch was still not ready for Max7.

I posted a topic on that forum, but no one could find a solution yet ('OMax 4.6 + Max 8' thread).
