Thanks for this great plugin, it's been a big help for me.
I'm using the VST3 inside Bitwig and mostly using it to analyse melodic loops from my sample library.
My workflow is following:
- Preview samples (melodic loops) in the DAW browser
- Drop the loop on the DAW timeline so that it gets stretched to match the DAW's tempo
- Add NeuralNote on the channel to analyse it
I'm always wondering why the playback of the plugin can't be locked to DAW's playback or is it just Bitwig that causes this?
It would be great if it would be possible to just record arm NeuralNote and press spacebar to launch DAW playback and the plugin would start recording when the DAW playback starts.
This way the drag'n'droppable midi would be lined up with the project automatically. Also now that the plugin can output midi it would be possible to instantly preview the analysed audio with any synth in sync with the project.
