Public alpha release of DPD Docker Console.

DPD Docker Console is a lightweight Linux desktop control panel for local Docker containers. It is designed for local AI stacks, home-lab machines, and Linux workstations where only the needed containers should be running.

This release includes:

  • Simple Tkinter desktop interface
  • Local Docker container discovery
  • Container status, uptime, image, ports, and data location display
  • Start/stop controls for selected containers
  • Per-user install script
  • Status and uninstall scripts
  • Desktop launcher icon support
  • Promo copy and screenshots

Requirements:

  • Linux
  • Docker
  • Python 3
  • Python Tkinter

On Debian, Ubuntu, or Linux Mint:

sudo apt install python3 python3-tk

Install:

./install.sh

Run:

docker-control-panel

Uninstall:

./uninstall.sh

Known limitations:

  • Alpha release.
  • Intended for local workstation/lab Docker containers.
  • Not a replacement for Docker, Portainer, or full orchestration dashboards.
