Presets

iQualize ships with 15 built-in presets. Built-in presets auto-fork when you edit them — your changes become a new custom preset, the original stays untouched.

Genre Presets

Preset Bands Character
Techno 10 Boosted sub and highs, scooped mids — punchy kicks and crispy hats
Hard Techno 10 Aggressive version of Techno — more sub, more top, deeper mid cut
Deep House 10 Warm sub-bass emphasis with gentle high-end lift
Minimal 10 Subtle low-end warmth with a light high-end shimmer
Luzifer's Void 16 Dark techno — gravitational sub mass, gutted mids, rising high-end staircase
DEADBEEF 10 Hex-derived dark techno — dead weight sub from 0xDEAD, beef presence from 0xBEEF
0xDEADBEEF 20 Pure math experiment — every frequency bit-shifted from the magic number, boost/notch warfare
American Rap 10 808-heavy sub-bass, mid scoop, vocal presence and brightness
German Rap 10 Warm mid-bass, vocal clarity, balanced brightness

Custom Presets

Create your own: adjust the EQ, click Save, give it a name. Custom presets are stored locally and persist across app restarts.

Import / Export

Presets are .iqpreset files — plain JSON you can share, version control, or edit by hand.

Export: Right-click a preset → Export Import: File → Import Preset, or drag .iqpreset files onto the EQ window
