Overview of the Feature Request
Create a custom homepage for dataverse.no and demo.dataverse.no as described in section Custom Homepage in the Dataverse Installation Guide.

What kind of user is the feature intended for?
(Example users roles: API User, Curator, Depositor, Guest, Administrator, Sysadmin)
Mostly Depositor and Guest.

What inspired the request?
Users, particularly curators, have been asking for a leaner entry page to the DataverseNO repository. The Custom Homepage feature has been available for a couple of years and several installations have been using this option.

What existing behavior do you want changed?
The home page being the current repository landing page viewing feature collections and datasets.

Any brand new behavior do you want to add to DataverseNO?
Yes, a new home page / entry page for the repository.

Any open or closed issues related to this feature request?
No.
