A guide for fixing red color oversaturation issues in video games.

  1. Install the latest DWM LUT GUI

Your monitor should be detected properly here.

  1. Get 3D CUBE LUT files (download or create your own)

  2. Assign the LUT file to an SDR or HDR file (depending on your monitor), and Apply

My "daily driver" with 25% fewer red peaks looks like this.

There are also -100% LUT files. You can find your perfect color correction LUT online or create it with any image editing software. It's even possible with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). Overall it depends on the monitor/calibration and personal color preferences.
