waveform seekbar crashes

Hello! Waveform seekbar sometimes causes crashes. Can you give me a tip to solve the issue? I know it's 3rd party plugin and outdated. But I wonder if someone found a solution for that crashes. Thank you.

There's not much that can be done, aside of finding the bug and fixing it

One more question please. These crashes could cause anything to music files or player itself? If it's just the instant annoyance of crashing, i can live with it. Thank you!
