By inviting or interacting with Grim (the Discord bot for Seclude & Affiliates), you agree to these terms. Last updated: November 27, 2025.

1. Usage & Permissions

• Grim is for personal, non-commercial use in authorized servers only. No reselling, cloning, or reverse-engineering.
• Respect Discord's ToS and Community Guidelines—we're all shadows in the same void.
• xAI integrations (powered by Grok) are subject to xAI's terms. Rate limits apply; don't spam the abyss.

2. Content & AI Shenanigans

• Generated responses (text, vibes, or chaos) are experimental—use at your own risk. No liability for existential crises or bad roasts.
• Keep inputs SFW; Grim filters the profane, but you're responsible for your server's sanity.
• We don't store personal data beyond what's needed for bot function. Privacy? Check our Policy.

3. Prohibitions

• No harassment, scams, doxxing, or illegal summons. Bans are final; appeals go to the ether.
• Self-promo or spam? Exile to the outer rims.

4. Changes & Termination

• We can update these terms or yank Grim anytime. Continued use = acceptance.
• Questions? DM the devs in Seclude— we're listening in the dark.

Privacy Policy

Grim respects your shadows. Here’s exactly what we do (and don’t do) with your data.

1. What We Collect

• Discord User ID — to know who’s talking to Grim and enforce cooldowns/bans.
• Server (Guild) ID — to remember server-specific settings.
• Message content — only when you directly @Grim or use a slash command. We immediately forward it to xAI (Grok) and throw it away after the response.
• Nothing else. No usernames, no profiles, no DMs, no message history, no logs saved to disk.

2. How It’s Used

• Solely to make the bot work and to generate replies via xAI’s API.
• xAI sees your prompt (that’s how Grok works) and follows their own privacy policy.

3. Storage & Deletion

• In-memory only (gone when the bot restarts — Replit sleeps = data dies).
• We do not write anything to permanent databases or logs.
• Want everything erased right now? Kick the bot or DM !gdpr delete and we forget you instantly.

4. Sharing

• Never sold, never shared, never leaked.
• Only exception: xAI temporarily sees your message content to generate a reply (again, see their policy).

5. Changes

We’ll update this section in the repo if anything changes. Continued use after updates = you’re cool with it.
