  • I used to paraglide, so have spent a fair amount of time looking at weather maps. And recently posted an analogy to x, showing the similarity between Egregores and weather systems using high/low pressures and weather fronts.

It's not 100%. Like in real world, weather a high pressure doesn't just transform and become low pressure the same way an Egregore can go from low-preasure to high-preasure. But thought it was worth exploring together.

I think these analogies have merit. The similarities to weather patterns are pretty strong.

- swapped "egregore" usage for "belief"

Hey @DefenderOfBasic @over2sd

I attempted to clarify the ontology a bit.

Renamed and reframed key sections:

  • “Egregore pressure system” → “Memetic (Belief) Pressure System”
  • “Low-/High-pressure egregore” → “Low-/High-pressure belief (memeplex)”
  • “Egregore pressure reversal” → “Belief Pressure Reversal (Consensus Reversal)”

Also added conceptual bridge between levels and improved examples and clarity.

This is much improved in the latest commit.
I will clarify, though, that nobody is denying climate change; we're just arguing over the causes.
