Implement a comprehensive encryption system for protecting user assets (audio files, transcriptions, and analysis data) both in-transit and at-rest. This integration will be based on research collaboration with external contributors focusing on privacy-by-design principles.

  • Potential collaboration with external research team on implementing their proven encryption architecture
  • Target use cases include deployments requiring stringent privacy measures

Requirements

Functional Requirements

  • Implement end-to-end encryption for all user assets
  • Support chunked audio file encryption during transmission
  • Enable secure key management for user-specific asset access
  • Maintain encryption across the entire pipeline (upload → processing → storage)
  • Ensure only account owners can access their encrypted assets
