Below your hunger and health, but above your hotbar sits your experience bar. This usually tracks how many experience points you have collected between levels, but in MyZ, it represents your visibility bar.
Each individual segment of the bar represents one stretch of blocks a MyZ mob can see you from. This distance can be modified in the config.
Every action a player makes is reflected in their visibility bar.
- Walking
- Running
- Jumping
- Sneaking
- Talking
- Standing in grass
- Carrying flesh
- Wearing a zombie head
- Being on fire
- Bleeding
- Shooting arrows
- Eating
- Drinking
- Throwing snowballs
- Activating redstone
- Taking damage
- The weather
- The time of day
- Explosions
- Landed arrows
All of these effect what a zombie can see. And once a zombie gets an inkling that something is going on, it'll walk over and investigate. If a player wishes to stay alive, they must monitor their visibility bar.
