Simplify front page tiles

The three current tiles on the front page are too verbose. I would increase the size of the images, give them short titles (Explore, Latest, About) and ideally have the full text as a tooltip upon hovering.

I think it's better to put the welcome text below the three tiles as well.

The only thing I would disagree with are the tooltips as these are always an issue on mobile devices and need special treatment. It's not impossible, tho.
