Cloudflare refuses my domain #80048

I'm also facing the same issue |

Workaround: use qzz.io instead of qd.je |

Yeah. It happens because technically what we get here are subdomains. Eg: myapp.qd.je is what we get from DigitalPlat. The domain here is technically qd.je, so when we write "myapp.qd.je" in cloudfare, what we are writing is a subdomain of "qd.je". Now, cloudfare will accept "qd.je", but we cannot write "qd.je" because we do not own that (Unless @EdwardLab , lets us). It is owned by DigitalPlat and DigitalPlat gave us access to a subdomain under "qd.je". I am trying for a workaround. Will update here if it works. PS: Found a work around. deSEC. Eg: You want to use Resend. You need to add a domain and Resend will try to verify the DNS. It will give you certain records which you need to add to deSEC Domain management, based on how you wanna use it. Lets say I wanna run a email verification setup. So I will use the "send" TXT and MX. Also for resend you need the DKIM for resend verification. And now you can use RESEND API in your "myapp". Upvote if it works for you. |

Hello,
I registered abdullathottungal.qd.je.
I delegated nameservers to:
Cloudflare refuses to add abdullathottungal.qd.je because it says the domain is a subdomain and requires a root domain.
Vercel accepts the domain but requests TXT and CNAME records through Cloudflare.
How should qd.je domains be connected to Cloudflare and Vercel? Is there a special workflow for delegated subdomains?
Thank you.
