showing registers and memory windows in SASM

hello,
I have a problem in my SASM, I can't show the registers and memory windows, any one knows how to solve it?

Hello @yd92 ,
You won't be able to see the registers&memory mappings if you are not already on Debug mode,
Put a break point at the very beginning of your 'main/__start' then run your program on debug mode (F5),
after that you can press CTRL+M & CTRL+R to show the registers&memory.

yes I know that!
this is after debug mode (I put also breakpoint) , and I still can't do show register and show memory
I don't understand the problem, cause of this I wrote here!

I have a somewhat simmilar problem, the compilation is successful, but when i try to debug
the console writes "Debugging started...", but it doesn't do anything.
Pressing F5 does nothing, and when I press the "Debug" button the icon doesn't change, when I press it again
the button changes to "Pause", when I press it the third time the button changes to "Continue" and no matter how many times I press it, it stays on "Continue".

It doesn't do anything, during ^, the buttons "Step over", "Step into" and "Stop" are gray and cannot be pushed.
I have tried to reset SASM multiple times, but it never worked, I need SASM for school and none of my classmates have a similar problem. I need your help!

I also have this problem (I installed it on anothe laptop it worked) , somehow the problem is just in mine!
I put in my first message what it shows after I put debuug (and after I put breaking point in my code)

Ensure that you are using a stable nasm release. (past the result of nasm.exe --version)
add "-g" to your build options (to include debug information )

can you share your nasm version ? nasm.exe --version if you have a version < 2.15 you can upgrade your nasm (download link)
install it as administrator and change your assembler path in SASM settings to point to the new installed binnary.

when I add -f :

when I add just -g :
it worked but I still cant do crtl+R/M

what do you mean nasm version? I just downloaded SASM and in options I put this:

-F not -f (upper case)
Nasm is your assembler, a default version is shipped with SASM, to retrieve your version follow these instructions :

• open a command line (cmd.exe )
• type cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\SASM\NASM\" && nasm.exe --version
