🔒 1. NSIS Installer Data Shield (build/installer.nsh)

  • Eliminated Recursive Directory Removal: Overrode default RMDir /r $INSTDIR during setup updates and reinstalls. The installer now exclusively updates app binaries and runtime files, keeping user sessions, logins, caches, and custom files 100% intact.
  • In-Place Seamless Upgrade: Installing directly over an existing portable installation upgrades the program files in place without wiping the data/ folder.

  • Automatic Session & Config Mirroring: Whenever an account logs in or configurations change, SessionStore mirrors tokens and config to a protected OS vault (%APPDATA%/Guidegram/safe_backup/).
  • Instant Auto-Restoration: If the local data/ folder is ever accidentally deleted or corrupted, Guidegram immediately detects the backup on launch and restores all accounts and sessions without requiring the user to log in again.
