Summary

Open links externally and not in the embedded browser

Basic Example

I have Firefox installed and I want links such as trailers to open externally on to Firefox itself and not using the Chrome Custom Tab feature.

Clicking a trailer opens a Chrome Custom Tab then opens YouTube.

If I go back from YouTube, the embedded browser is still there. I have to go back again to return to Fladder.

Are you sure it's opening a chrome custom tab? For me using firefox it opens a custom tab but it's still using firefox and allows for opening it in the full browser as well.

Look horrible this is. Please give us the option to stop using chrome custom tabs.

Yes so that's a chrome custom tab. Normally it should open a Firefox custom tab (probably something in your settings)

The easiest way for now would be for you to disable custom tabs inside the browser you're using.

I could add a toggle to disable the behavior but it would be pretty low on the list of things to implement
