Hey everyone! We're super excited to share the first pre-release of DIP Framework with you all.

What's This?

DIP Framework is basically a Python toolkit that makes annoying tasks easy. Instead of googling "how to clear console in python" for the 50th time, you just use our simple functions and you're done.

What Can It Do?

Here's what we packed into this first release:

System Stuff:

• Clear your terminal (finally!)
• Sleep, reboot, or shutdown your computer
• Check the time and schedule things
• Get info about your system

Media & Notifications:

• Play sounds and videos
• Send desktop notifications (great for letting users know when long tasks finish)

File Operations:

• Read and write files easily
• Check if folders exist or create them

Data Parsing:

• Parse JSON, CSV, YAML, and XML files
• Grab data from URLs too (same formats)

Internet Tools:

• Open websites in the browser
• Convert currencies with live rates
• Parse URLs and extract domains

Logging:

• Keep track of what your app is doing with automatic timestamped logs

Installation

cd DIP_Framework
pip install psutil requests pyyaml playsound3 python-vlc plyer freecurrencyapi

What's "Pre-Release" Mean?

We're calling this a pre-release because we want to get it out there for you all to try, but we know there's still room for improvement. Feel free to test it out, break things, and let us know what you think!

Known Issues

• Error handling could be better (working on it!)
• Video playback requires VLC installed
• Currency conversion needs internet
• Some features need admin/sudo permissions

What's Next?

We're planning to add more features, improve error messages, and make everything even easier to use. If you have ideas or find bugs, please open an issue!
