Important

Former HoYoShade contributor (阿向菌|AXBro) is no longer involved in the development and maintenance of HoYoShade. This is because during the V2.5.1 Stable version period, they violated the BSD-3 open-source license used by HoYoShade and ReShade in mainland China, arbitrarily releasing a low-quality and almost unusable closed-source version under the name of "all HoYoShade contributors," disguising it as a normal distribution version on the HoYoShade GitHub Releases page, causing a certain degree of interference to other contributors' normal lives.
After becoming aware of the problem, they still refused to apologize to other contributors and delete the closed-source version, refused to remove false statements spread on the internet, and blocked other contributors' contact information.
We reserve the right to pursue legal action. Please do not believe any statements they make about HoYoShade, as they no longer represent all or any of the HoYoShade contributors.

Caution

Due to DMCA, HoYoShade will no longer have any built-in effect libraries after this version.
You need to obtain the effect library from the official ReShade installer and then complete it manually.

Important

The current Batchfile-based launcher will be deprecated soon, and installing and configuring shaders/effect libraries is quite cumbersome. We recommend that you install our next-generation GUI launcher, HoYoShade Hub, to install and download the HoYoShade framework and ReShade shaders and plugins, and easily integrate it with your familiar third-party mods.
Although it is still under development, it is already quite complete, and after installation, you can use the launcher's built-in update tool to automatically update it when the official version is released in the future, without needing to uninstall it.

Warning

Due to regulatory review requirements and policy factors imposed by the authorities goverment in mainland China, certain mods may be detected by the anti-cheat system when injected into the client specifically for mainland China and upon entering the game. This can result in your account being forcibly logged out (e.g., receiving an in-game prompt stating: "Data anomaly detected, please log in again. Error code: 15-4001"). If you are certain that you have installed the mod correctly according to the tutorial, it is highly likely that the mod has been detected by the anti-cheat system. Submitting issues regarding this matter is ineffective, as this is a temporary adjustment rather than a permanent change. We recommend that you avoid using any Mods or other plugins during the first week or throughout the entire month of March, June, September, December, or other special holidays, or switch to using the international server client to play with Mods and other plugins.

Warning

Based on feedback from some miHoYo/HoYoverse creators, HoYoShade may not provide stable performance when used on high-cost-performance laptops purchased in mainland China. Upon investigation, the majority of these issues are related to the hardware of the devices themselves (e.g., design flaws causing overheating, prolonged lack of cleaning and thermal paste replacement, etc.). HoYoShade will not prioritize addressing issues caused by non-Mod-related factors. Please check whether the issue is hardware-related before reporting it, and only provide feedback after confirming it is not a hardware problem.

Important

If you want to use this feature, just create a shortcut in the HoYoShade root directory - right-click on blank space - create new - shortcut - pointing to Blender mod injector program (for Genshin Impact Version Blender mod, point to client.exe; for Zenless Zone Zero Version Blender mod, point to loader.exe). Then rename this shortcut (for Genshin Impact Version Blender mod, rename to ys_client.exe.lnk; for Zenless Zone Zero Version Blender mod, rename to zzz_loader.exe.lnk), and you can use the relevant cooperative injection feature in the launcher.

Important

We will rely on the CDN network deployed by Cloudflare in Mainland China, based on your IP attribution to determine whether you are located in Mainland China/Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan/Singapore. For users not located in Mainland China/Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan/Singapore, the injector will display a region warning, but you can still choose to continue trying to run the cooperative injection feature. However, once related issues occur, the developers of HoYoShade and Blender/Video Recording Mod may not provide complete technical support for your issues, or may not provide technical support at all.
