From experience I know that it can happen that the interpreter will not process any "Fix" events.
The easiest way is editing code in a multi-threaded application while stuff is on the stack, but I've seen this in other circumstances as well.
That would mean that my code changes are not going to be saved on disk, and I would not know.
Therefore I suggest to print a message to the session, at least optionally.
