Bazecor v1.9.0
Pre-release
Pre-release
Hi, Dygmates
While we work on new firmware updates, we thought we'd give Bazecor some well-deserved love.
For this release, we've focused on improving the Preferences section, which is now renamed "Settings" to better align with the names used by most operating systems and apps.
The key takeaways are:
- We moved the option to change the default layer to Typing & Keys, which we've renamed to Keys and Layers.
- Removed redundant text in the Keys and Layers configuration options.
- We removed the Advanced submenu item, as it only contained the option to change the default layer.
- We added the option to restore the default backup for your keyboard in the Backups section.
- We fixed a bug where "Highlight Layer change" was reset when updating the firmware.
- We improved the virtual keyboards, as they didn't match the current default backups.
- We added a filter so you can't accidentally restore a Raise 2 backup into a Defy, and vice versa. You can still restore backups between the OG Raise and the Raise 2.
- We removed the Neuron manager, as the information provided was confusing to most users.
- There are also bigger under-the-hood improvements on how Bazecor handles different keyboards to prepare it for future developments.
We hope you like this update!
