FAQ

Q. I keep getting the error "Error generating citations: Failed to fetch"
A. You need to run startserver.bat before you try to generate citations.
In the future, I might host a server for everyone to use. However, in the meantime, you will be stuck using your own.

Q. Why did startserver.bat open cmd? Am I hacked?
A. No, you are not hacked. If you don't believe me, you can check for yourself.
This is what you are running:

@echo off
REM Install the required Python packages
pip install -r ./resources/app/flask/requirements.txt
cls

REM Run the Flask application
python ./resources/app/flask/flaskapp.py

It's installing the Python packages with pip install -r ./resources/app/flask/requirements.txt. It is then clearing the terminal and starting the Flask server. This is what allows the application to run, meaning if you do not run it, then you will be unable to generate citations.
