Q: Do I need to bring my laptop?

A: YES!

Q: Which Editor/IDE should I use?

A: Pick the one you want to use - install them and try them out. Take each of the out for a test drive ...kick the tires, see which you like. If you don't which to use, check with your team mates - having similar tools will help when you are pair programming.

Q: Do I have to choose one of the projects or can I do something else?

A: The projects are available for you to start with and provide you with a "birdhouse" to build. You are free to do whatever with the project - change it into whatever you want! You can also create your own if you want.

Q: How will the team communicate?

A: Each team has a Slack channel that can be used to communicate with each other. Its a great place to ask questions and get answers that can them be shared by all the team members.

Q: I have a question about a project, how do I get help?

A: Slack! Each project has a slack channel - post your question and see what other teams have also posted.

Q: How will I know when lunch is available?

A: All hackathon announcements will be sent out using Slack. Everyone should be signed into the build_cool_things slack team and joined the #hackathon_2016 channel. Look for all hackathon announcements on this channel.

Q: Can I keep hacking after the hackathon is over?

A: YES! The projects are on github and available to access after the hackathon.
