Pre Hackathon Checklist

Steps to ensure a successful Hackathon

1. Join the build_cool_stuff slack team
   • Sign in with your emc email address (link in footer)
   • Join the #hackathon_2016 channel
   • Join your team channel
   • Join the channel associated with your project
2. Setup your Development Environment
   • Development Environment Setup System
   • (for those interested a windows VM with the tools installed, the OVF files to download for booting up up their own pre-configurted windows system are located at http://ibisfiles.lss.emc.com/hackathon - download all the hackathon-win7 files and use them to setup a new windows VM image). This VM comes with all tools installed and ready, it is configured to use DHCP by default (which can be changed to static if you need for deployment).
3. Review The projects

4. Verify and Register Friday Aug 26 in Red Cloud from 11am - 2pm
   • Demonstrate your environment (clone a project repo, build it, run it - WIN)
   • Get your Swag
