Team Lead Guide
Team leads are key to a successful hackathon!
- Create a team name This will be used throughout the hackathon to identify your group
- Create a Github Organization Team From the EMC-UI main page, you can create a team. This will allow you to manage your code as a group and help with creating issues.
- Create a Slack Team Channel Slack will be the main way we will communicate with your team and its a great way to capture the team's chatter.
- Facilitate picking a Project Choose from the ideas available or come up with your own. Be sure to have your team members join the project specific channel on slack.
- Have Fun
- Encourage learning
- Help encourage your team to work together on the project and resist the tendency to work solo
- Let the organization staffers or roaming coaches of questions or issues
- Act as point person for team sign-ups (Monday check-in & Tuesday demo)
