S-param viewer

Plotting

• Run the .exe file, that can be found in latest release
• Open the touchstone file:

• The plot will automatically be generated. You can configure this as required.
• On this plot, verify the S-params according to the datasheet. For instance S11 and S21 can be verified conforming to the datasheet:

• To save a plot:

Obtaining mean S21 mag:

• For attenuators, untick all plot boxes except S21.
• Open the .csv file with the same name as the touchstone file you plotted:

• If you see a text file with an error. Follow instructions or contact responsible engineer.

• Otherwise you will see the date, time, and mean attenuation:

• Look at the S21 plot to verify this makes sense. Write the S21 value down (with 3 decimals) on a packet and store that attenuator in the packet.
