I have been working on adding agentic skills to my ERDDAP™ related R packages (they are in the relevant Github repos not in CRAN), and thought I would make a first pass at creating such skills for ERDDAP™ itself. My first stab is at https://github.com/rmendels/erddap_skills
Agentic skills have many of the same features as MCPs, but have the advantage of being developed in natural language in markdown files, and if made available to people, can downloaded and personalized by users to better meet their needs.
As I said, that is just my first pass at writing these skill, but I thought rather than just suggesting adding agentic skills I would provide a starting point, griddap and tabledap skills are in a subdirectory so that the skill file does not become too long.
