We are scheduling an initial coordination meeting to discuss governance for ACDD.

Please add your availability to the poll below for the second and third weeks of June:

The goal of this first meeting will be to connect interested contributors and identify next steps for establishing a governance process. This may include identifying a lead or coordinating point person for the effort, and also how best to update the steering group.

All interested participants are welcome. We are especially interested in expanding participation to include international contributors so that the governance process can benefit from a broader range of experience with metadata standards and community needs. Please note and set your time zone in the poll linked above. We'll use the results to set a time that works for as many folks as possible.

If you know others who should be involved, please pass this along through your networks.
