MQ Standard Message Fields

The following fields are considered standard and MUST be included with each message sent to the Prodiguer MQ platform:

• msgApplication - the messaging application (validated against a controlled vocabulary)

• msgCode - the message type. This is validated against the following controlled vocabularies:

1. internal message types)
2. monitoring message types)

• msgProducer - the message producer (validated against a controlled vocabulary)

• msgTimestamp - a timestamp of nanosecond precision, e.g. 2014-08-29-12:15:29-014008175

• msgUID - a universally unique identifier
