The data used in the paper comes from two case studies.

Main Case study: Plant–pollinator networks across the Canary Islands

Data from Trøjelsgaard et al. 2015, accessed in the main analysis, site-scale, and subset analysis scripts.

1. Interaction networks

Count of observations for each plant–pollinator interaction recorded at a given site. The dataset is not saved in this repository: it is loaded directly using the emln R package data interface (dataset no. 60).

2. distance_between_sites_canary.csv

Geographic distances (in meters) between each pair of sites in the study. Taken directly from the paper cited above.

Additional case study: Temporal host–parasite networks

Data from Krasnov et al. 2010, Pilosof et al. 2013 accessed in the temporal host–parasite analysis script.

1. 41559_2017_BFs415590170101_MOESM36_ESM.xlsx

Host–parasite interaction data recording the number of parasite individuals collected from each host species across multiple sampling years. Each row represents one host individual, and columns represent parasite species. Used to construct year-specific interaction matrices.
