Initial Release

Modular API

  • The server codebase is organized by feature modules, for improved scalability and maintainability.
  • Interactive API docs available at /api-docs, powered by Swagger UI and auto-generated from JSDoc comments.

Server Endpoints:

  • Added /health, /info and /ping endpoints for monitoring, diagnostics, and service metadata.

Logging & Analytics:

  • Centralized logging with endpoints to fetch error, warning, and info logs for admins.
  • Analytics endpoints for user and ingredient trends, available through a separate admin dashboard.

Notifications:

  • Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging, with support for scheduled and ingredient-based reminders.
  • Real-time updates are provided through Socket.IO.

Authentication and Security:

  • The server uses JWT for authorization and authentication.
  • Registration and password reset require OTP verification.

Known Issues:

  • SMTP service still blocked, waiting for port to be unlocked.
