Welcome to the Lost Tape Shader wiki. Use the sidebar to navigate between pages.
Lost Tape Shader is a nostalgic analog-horror shaderpack for Iris and Oculus. It turns Minecraft into found footage: dense breathing fog, real shadows, volumetric light shafts, and a full VHS/PSX post-processing chain.
This means:
- A Somber-style horror atmosphere that runs fast even on weak GPUs (classic GLSL 120 pipeline, no PBR)
- 13 hand-tuned presets from subtle dread to full analog-horror broadcast
- Every effect individually adjustable in-game, in English and German
- Install Iris (Fabric/Quilt/NeoForge) or Oculus (Forge)
- Download
Lost_Tape_v1.4.zipfrom the Releases page - Drop the zip into
.minecraft/shaderpacks/ - In-game: Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs → select Lost_Tape_v1.4.zip
- Open Shader Pack Settings and pick a preset — done
