Sample Vault
A free, fully analyzed demo vault built around Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice. All 61 chapters are scene notes with full properties, alongside 15 Save the Cat beat notes, 28 character notes, and saved AI analysis you can read without an API key: Pulse analysis on every chapter, four Gossamer signals, and three Inquiry sessions. It's the fastest way to see what Radial Timeline produces from a full-length novel.
- Click Explore a finished book on the Welcome screen, or Explore demo under Settings → PRO → Demo vaults.
- In the demo chooser, click Add demo to this vault on Pride & Prejudice.
Radial Timeline downloads the demo, checks it, adds it to a Demo Projects folder, and opens it on the timeline. Nothing in your vault is replaced: the book joins Book Manager beside yours, and your AI settings stay as they are. If the folder is already there, the card shows Open demo instead.
Click Download ZIP on the same card in the demo chooser, or download it from the Pride & Prejudice demo vault page on radialtimeline.com.
- Unzip the download. You'll get a folder named Pride & Prejudice Demo Vault.
- In Obsidian, choose Open another vault → Open folder as vault and select that folder.
- Turn on community plugins when Obsidian asks, then install Radial Timeline from Settings → Community plugins → Browse.
- The Welcome screen opens with the plugin. It detects the packaged book and shows Open the sample vault. Click it to drop straight into the finished story on the timeline. (If you skip the Welcome screen, point the plugin at the book yourself under Settings → Core → Books, then open the view with Radial timeline: Open.)
The download holds the book and its notes only, with no Obsidian settings or plugin files. You install the current plugin yourself in step 3.

The Odyssey and Sherlock Holmes are free demos too, added the same way from the demo chooser or downloaded from their pages on radialtimeline.com. Sherlock Holmes collects four novels, A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of the Four, The Hound of the Baskervilles, and The Valley of Fear: 56 chapters, each novel in its own manuscript folder with three acts and its own Mystery and Revelation beats. The Faerie Queene is listed there as Coming soon.
You're welcome to fork it, edit it, write in it, or strip it for parts. The source text and all included analysis are free to read, copy, and reuse.
