I have a few suggestions to improve the UX

When selecting a value it would be nice to have a path notation
like $.product.2e1ae0da-755b-4987-8da8-fbf9bdc1b473.AEGA.plain.content.thumb[0].files.mini.url in the status bar
this helps the user know where they are in the file

it would also be nice to have the number of occurrences of the matched string 1/23

it would be nice to search by K/V

Thank for very much for your feedback. I will put those on my list for future enhancement ideas.

About the path notation: Janice already shows the path of the currently selected item on the top of the window (directly under the search bar). Could you please elaborate why you would also like to see the path in the status bar?

What is a bit weird is that the menu bar does not seam to be shown in your screenshot. (compare screenshots in README)

There is an option under "View", where you can toggle that feature. I am not too familiar with macOS though. Do you maybe have any idea why the menu is not shown for you?

Hi, yes the feature was disabled in the view menu, you don't see it because on the mac the menu is fixed at the top for all the apps.
