If the command returns the installed GRUB version, the font converter is ready to use.
4. Convert a font
Once GRUB2FontBuilder and the required dependencies are installed, you can convert a .ttf or .otf font into a GRUB .pf2 font.
Example:
grub-mkfont -s 24 -o MyFont.pf2 MyFont.ttf
The resulting .pf2 file can then be used by GRUB themes.
Important: GRUB2FontBuilder and the required GRUB font tools must be installed before attempting Linux font conversion. The application cannot guarantee font conversion if the required GRUB tools are missing from the system.
