Pigeons Launcher 2.2.24 — Offline Skins and Localization

Offline skins

  • Added a skin selector with username, URL, and local PNG support.
  • Fabric profiles automatically prepare the client-side OfflineSkins integration.
  • Vanilla, Forge, and NeoForge profiles use a version-aware local resource-pack fallback in Single Player.
  • New offline accounts use deterministic Minecraft-compatible UUIDs so their selected skin remains stable.
  • Added validation and local caching for 64x64 and legacy 64x32 PNG skins.

Launcher improvements

  • Added English and Spanish language selection to the first-run experience and settings.
  • Improved update-note rendering so Markdown lists, headings, code, and line breaks display correctly.
  • Modrinth installations now refresh the Installed view immediately without interrupting browsing.
  • Improved visible progress and error reporting while mods and skin components are installed.

Validation

  • Added automated coverage for offline UUID generation and Vanilla skin injection.
  • Verified version-specific resource-pack metadata against the selected Minecraft client JAR.
