Device used: MacBook Air 15.6.1 Chrome, iPhone 15 iOS 18.5 Safari
App Component: Left Hand Navigation (LHN)

Action Performed:

1. Sign in to ND
2. Navigate to 1:1 chat
3. Press on the message, mark as unread
4. Verify the new message marker is displayed on top of the message marked as unread, chat is bold in LHN
5. Click on any other chat - the chat from step 4 is not bold right after opening another chat
6. Navigate back to the conversation - no "new message" marker displayed on top of the message

Expected Result:

Step 5 - chat remains bold right after opening another chat
Step 6 - when navigating back, new message marker displayed on top of the marked as unread message when navigating away from the chat and back

Actual Result:

Step 5 - chat with unread message is not bold in LHN right after opening another chat
Step 6 - "new message" marker is not displayed on top of the marked as unread message when navigating away from the chat and back
