Issue reported by: Applause Internal Team
Bug source: Exploratory - Significant User Experience Deterioration
Device used: Redminote 10S Android 13
App Component: Chat Report View

Action Performed:

  1. Launch app
  2. Open a chat
  3. In the message composer, paste global_create and type # before it so it becomes #global_create.
  4. On the next line, paste global_create
  5. First add : at end of global_create and then add : before the text global_create
  6. Note global_create text after adding : on both sides turns to emoji and cursor moved to step 3 inbetween create text

Expected Result:

When :global_create: converts into an emoji, the cursor should remain immediately after the inserted emoji in the same line.

Actual Result:

After :global_create: converts to an emoji, the cursor jumps to the previous line (between the text in step 3) instead of staying after the emoji.
