'Message your Relationship Manager' will change how the Help link works. Instead of directly linking to the help docs, it will now open a new Help page with links to different help resources for the user. We'll implement in two releases:
Release 1: Introduce in-product Help landing page
Change the behavior of Account → Help so that it navigates to a new in-product Help landing page instead of opening the Help Site in a new browser tab.
Create a Help landing page within New Expensify that exists on both Web and Mobile.
On the Help landing page, display:
Concierge as a selectable support option.
A link to the Expensify Help Site.
Selecting the Help Site continues to open the Help documentation in a new browser tab.
Selecting Concierge will open Concierge Anywhere on Web. On Mobile, because Concierge Anywhere doesn't exist, selecting Concierge will take the user to their Concierge chat in Inbox.
Do not modify Concierge behavior, escalation logic, routing, or mobile discoverability outside of this new Help page.
Deploy to staging.
Verify on staging:
Account → Help routes to the new in-product page on Desktop and Mobile.
Help Site link opens correctly in a new tab.
Selecting Concierge opens the expected experience on both Desktop and Mobile.
No regression in existing support behavior.
Release to production.
Update Help documentation to reflect the new in-product Help landing page.
Release 2: Surface assigned relationship manager on Help landing page
Update the Help landing page to display the assigned relationship manager for eligible companies.
Display the assigned relationship manager only for:
Workspace Admins.
The Workspace Editor role, when introduced.
For the assigned relationship manager, display:
Avatar.
Full name.
Role label.
Selecting the assigned relationship manager will immediately open a direct message chat with that person in New Expensify.
If no relationship manager is assigned to the company, display no additional messaging or placeholder text.
Deploy to staging.
Verify on staging:
Assigned relationship manager appears only when one is assigned to the company.
Visibility is restricted to eligible roles.
Selecting the assigned relationship manager opens a direct message immediately.
Non-eligible users do not see the assigned relationship manager.
Release to production.
Notify #concierge-management and other relevant customer-facing teams of the new in-product discoverability path.
UI
Note
Customers should really only have one relationship manager assigned to them at a given time. The mockup above is intended solely to illustrate both relationship manager types.
