Action Performed:

Precondition:

  • Create two workspaces - A and B.
  • Enable Taxes in both workspaces.
  • On workspace A, set up the following:
  • Create tax rate 10% in workspace A.
  • Set Workspace currency default to 5% rate.
  • Set Foreign currency default to 10% rate.
  1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Go to self DM.
  3. Create an expense with foreign currency.
  4. Click Submit it to someone.
  5. Select workspace chat B.
  6. On confirm page, click Amount.
  7. Change the currency to local currency and save it.
  8. Click Tax field.

Expected Result:

Only one Tax exempt (0%) rate will appear in the tax list.

Actual Result:

Two Tax exempt (0%) rates appear in the tax list.
One of the rates is selected and grayed out.
