Action Performed:

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace settings > Company cards.
3. Click Add cards.
4. Select United States > Next.
   → Direct feed is auto selected.
5. Click RHP back button.
6. Select non-Plaid country (eg, Vatican City).
7. Click Next.

Expected Result:

Commercial feed should be auto selected.

Actual Result:

Commercial feed is not auto selected.

PR #89909 introduced a change to SelectCountryStep.tsx that broke the auto-selection of "Commercial feed" for non-Plaid countries. The fix is straightforward — revert the PR so commercial feed is again auto-selected for non-Plaid countries.

Detailed Analysis

Evidence

• The bug: after selecting a non-Plaid country (e.g. Vatican City) and clicking Next, then pressing the RHP back button and selecting another non-Plaid country, the "Commercial feed" option on the SelectFeedType screen is NOT auto-selected.
• The issue is staging-only (not reproducible in production), which matches PR [Payment due @hoangzinh] Relocate Import Transactions from File option so it is available for all countries. #89909 being a staging-only change.

These are exactly the files involved in the company card add-new flow, which is where the bug manifests.

Root Cause

In SelectCountryStep.tsx, the pre-PR code set selectedFeedType: CONST.COMPANY_CARDS.FEED_TYPE.CUSTOM when the selected country does not support Plaid. PR #89909 changed this to selectedFeedType: undefined for non-Plaid countries (so the user must explicitly choose):

In SelectFeedType.tsx, defaultTypeSelected is computed as:

For a non-Plaid country, both addNewCard?.data.selectedFeedType (now undefined) and the fallback (undefined) are falsy, so typeSelected ends up as undefined. The finalData array for non-Plaid countries is [commercialFeedItem, fileImportItem], both with isSelected: false, so no option is highlighted and the user must manually select one — contradicting the expected behavior where "Commercial feed" should be auto-selected.
