Evidence

• The bug is reproducible on staging only, not production, confirming it was introduced in this staging cycle.

Root Cause

PR #89166 introduced new focus and hover state management for the inline cell editing feature. In BaseSearchList/index.tsx, the PR changed shouldStopPropagation from true to false on the Enter keyboard shortcut, and added early-return guards in selectFocusedOption based on focusedCellId and isEditingCell. In TransactionListItem/index.tsx, it added shouldDisableHoverStyle state, a wasRecentlyEditingCell effect, and new handleOnPress/handleOnMouseDown/handleOnHoverIn handlers. In TransactionListItemWide.tsx, the isFocused prop applies hoverComponentBG background at line 107. When the user navigates to an expense via the RHP and returns, the focusedIndex in useArrowKeyFocusManager is never reset to -1, so the row continues to render with isFocused=true — causing the highlighted appearance to persist after RHP is closed.
