Details

A regression from PR #23306
The problem is that only errors for touched inputs are shown, so we should not set lastValidatedValues until at least one input has been touched. Otherwise validation will be skipped right after the input has been touched.

Test 1

1. Make sure you are using the staging server (Settings > Preferences > Use staging server) so you can use sandbox credentials for Plaid
2. Go to Settings > Workspace > Bank account > Connect with plaid method > Chase Bank
3. Use the following credentials for Chase Bank
   Username: user_good
   Password: pass_good
4. If a verification is prompted - select mobile and enter "credentials_good" as the verification mode
5. Checkmark the "Plaid Checking" and "Plaid Saving" and the last 2 options.
6. Click on continue
7. Check the T&C and click "Connect account information"
8. Click on the last confirmation on the plaid modal
9. Select the bank account ending in 1111
10. Enter Routing Number: 011401533 an enter an incorrect bank account number (e.g 1111222233334444)
11. Click continue
12. Verify that the server error you got remains if you blur the routing number input field (click outside it, change tabs etc)
13. Verify that the server error is cleared if you edit the value of either input field

Test 2

1. Go to Settings > Profile > Display Name
2. Enter a semicolon in the First name field (;)
3. Blur the input field (click elsewhere) and make sure an error is shown

  • All JSX used for rendering exists in the render method
  • The component has the minimum amount of code necessary for its purpose, and it is broken down into smaller components in order to separate concerns and functions
