It adheres to proper capitalization guidelines (note: only the first word of header/labels should be capitalized), and is either coming verbatim from figma or has been approved by marketing (in order to get marketing approval, ask the Bug Zero team member to add the Waiting for copy label to the issue)
  • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers

Review: Missing "of each month" in non-English translations

File: src/languages/de.ts (and fr, it, ja, nl, pl, pt-BR, zh-hans)

The en.ts and es.ts files correctly add "of each month" / "de cada mes" to the WAITING_FOR_AUTOMATIC_SUBMIT DATE_TIME case, so the English message reads:

Waiting for your expenses to automatically submit on the 7th of each month.

However, the other 8 language files only received a leading-space fix — they do not include the localized equivalent of "of each month". For example:

Otherwise, the core logic change in src/libs/NextStepUtils.ts looks correct — it properly uses CONST.DATE.ORDINAL_DAY_OF_MONTH for WAITING_FOR_AUTOMATIC_SUBMIT and falls back to the existing CONST.DATE.LONG_DATE_FORMAT_WITH_WEEKDAY for other message types, aligning the new buildNextStepMessage path with the deprecated buildNextStepNew behavior.
