Summary

Expensify/App#90204 reworked the Workspaces list page so that Workspaces and Domains are now separate tabs (a horizontal tab selector at the top of the page). This replaces the previous setup where Domains appeared as an Enhanced security section under Workspaces that was relabeled to Domains after a domain was claimed. The domains empty state was also restyled.

This updates the affected HelpDot articles to match the current UI. All tab, button, and label names were verified against the live UI:

  • Claim-and-Verify-a-Domain.md
    • Navigation now goes to Workspaces, then the Domains tab (was Workspaces > Domains).
    • Empty-state title is now Enhance your security with domains (was a section labeled Enhanced security).
    • The claim button in the empty state is now New domain (was Enable).
    • Verify-domain step now uses the three dots (⋮) menu next to the domain.
  • Domain-Admins.md — navigation updated to the Domains tab.
  • Manage-Domain-Members.md — navigation updated to the Domains tab.
  • Admin-Offboarding-Checklist.md — permissions reference updated to the Domains tab.

@JS00001, please review the files changed and confirm they reflect the current behavior. Then mark this PR Ready for review.

Reflect the Workspaces page change in E/A#90204 where Workspaces and
Domains are now separate tabs (previously the "Enhanced security"
section under Workspaces). Update navigation references, the domains
empty-state copy/button, and the three dots menu wording.

HelpDot Documentation Review

Overall Assessment

This PR updates four HelpDot articles to reflect a UI change where Domains moved from a subsection of the Workspaces page to a dedicated tab. The changes are narrowly scoped, internally consistent, and well-aligned with governance standards. Every modification corrects UI terminology to match the current product, which is exactly the kind of update the naming conventions document mandates.

Scores Summary

  • Readability: 9/10 - All updated navigation instructions are clear and follow a consistent pattern across files. Step formatting remains sequential and action-oriented.
  • AI Readiness: 8/10 - The changes improve retrieval accuracy by using the exact current UI labels (e.g., "Domains tab" instead of the former "Workspaces > Domains" path). No metadata (YAML frontmatter) was modified, but the diff scope did not call for metadata changes, so no penalty is warranted.
  • Style Compliance: 10/10 - The proposed changes follow all governance rules precisely. The three dots menu now uses the required three dots **(⋮)** format (previously "Overflow menu" and "three-dot menu"). Button names are bolded. Tab names are bolded. Navigation phrasing is exact and consistent.

Key Findings

  • The three dots menu references were corrected from non-compliant forms ("Overflow menu with management options", "three-dot menu") to the governance-mandated format: three dots **(⋮)**. This is the most impactful style compliance fix in the PR.
  • Navigation phrasing is now uniform across all four files: "Go to Workspaces, then select the Domains tab." This consistency aids both human readers and AI retrieval.
  • The empty-state description was updated from "Enhanced security" to "Enhance your security with domains", matching the current UI text exactly.
  • The claim button was corrected from Enable to New domain, matching the current UI.
  • No structural, heading, or metadata changes were made, which is appropriate given the scope of the underlying product change.

Recommendations

  • No blocking issues. The changes are ready from a documentation governance standpoint.
  • Future consideration: if the Domains tab navigation pattern appears in additional articles beyond these four, a follow-up audit would ensure consistency site-wide.

Files Reviewed

  • Claim-and-Verify-a-Domain.md - 8 lines changed. Navigation, button name, empty-state text, and three dots formatting all corrected. Clean.
  • Domain-Admins.md - 3 lines changed. Navigation references updated consistently. Clean.
  • Manage-Domain-Members.md - 4 lines changed. Navigation references updated consistently across multiple procedures. Clean.
  • Admin-Offboarding-Checklist.md - 1 line changed. Permissions reference updated to use "Domains tab" phrasing. Clean.

This review assessed only the proposed changes in the diff, not unchanged portions of the files.
