So- is this output correct?

Based off of that- do we want to have php 7.1 included? I don't feel strongly.

Also v2 EE should work on php 7.0 per the changelog and it should work on 7.1 but I'm fairly positive there are a few bugs still. I'd call it yellow. See:

https://docs.expressionengine.com/v2/about/changelog.html#version-2-11-0

Added compatibility with PHP 7 and MySQL 5.7.

And you'll see some php 7.1 bug fixes in the v2 changelog as well.

For EE v3 see: https://docs.expressionengine.com/v3/about/changelog.html#version-3-5-13

Added PHP 7.2 compatibility.

EE4 has a few tweaks for 7.1 and 7.2 mentions. Then 5.4 should work on php 8.0:

https://docs.expressionengine.com/v5/installation/changelog.html#version-540

Added support for PHP 8
Added support for MySQL 8

updated support per Robin's comment

php 8.0 support was officially added in v5, so should work in v6.0
