Fixed a bug causing the execution of the cron job to fail because multiple PIDs of the script were found when called from crontab. Put a new mechanism in place using a lock file as semaphore. Some code improvements in the "_DoCleanUp_" function.
Fine-tuning placement of "signals trap" statement.
Updated version string.

URGENT BUG FIX - Dev 0.2.42 Targeted as Next Stable/Master Release
Previously the cron wasn't allowed to run, and therefore never executed the update.
This version resolves issues with the job in the background cron job.
