Corrected after release. These notes were generated as a Performance entry titled unmasked label assignment needs no sort, which is wrong on every count: the commit changes no source file, and the optimisation it names shipped one release earlier as #178 in v0.0.0-alpha.29. #152 was retitled after it had been merged, too late for the squash subject that release-please read.

No functional change in this release. alpha.30 is alpha.29 plus tests and a paragraph of ARCHITECTURE.md. The published artifacts are correct; only these notes were wrong. The commit subject on main still reads perf: and is left as-is, since a tag, this release and its assets all point at that commit.
